• Pasture Raised Pork

Our heritage breed Berkshire pigs are famous for their high-quality meat which is exceptionally tender and well marbled. The pigs are trained on hotwire fencing and live outside on pasture year-round. This allows them to, well, be pigs! Roam, forage, dig, wallow, nap and feed whenever they like. When weather necessitates, they are provided shelter and deep bedding. They are farrowed right here on our ranch and are given the best life. Their rotational movement every 5 days and natural pig practices help disturb the soil and create a symbiotic relationship fertilizing and stimulating plant growth. We supplement their forage with NON-GMO grains and peas that are Corn and Soy Free. We do not use any antibiotics or growth hormones ever. Chemicals, hormones, GMO and additives are so pervasive in the food industry. It has become imperative that you know where your food comes from. Buying from a farmer you can trust reap
benefits. Active healthy animals are higher in healthy fats, Omega 3’s, and B vitamins.

  • Grass Fed Beef

1902 Ranch is part of the Ebey’s reserve on Whidbey Island in western Washington. Our holistic management promotes a large variety of native grasses that are used to feed our cattle on our regenerative farming model. We are a diverse, multi-species, grass-based animal farm. Wind from the Pacific Ocean keeps our environment crisp, and clean, with clear air that is great for our animals. We do not apply commercial fertilizers of any kind to our pastures. The cattle are rotated daily to fresh pasture
to fertilize the soil, and stimulate plant growth proliferating the carbon, and nitrogen cycle. This labor-intensive rotational system is the basis for regenerative agriculture, creating high-quality healthy soil and affecting climate change.

  • Pasture Raised Chicken

If you've never had a slow-growing, pasture raised chicken, this will probably be the best chicken you've ever tasted. Raised in pastures right here in Western Washington, our chickens are extremely active, spending their days eating grasses, worms, seeds, insects, and Washington grown grains and grasses that are free of corn, soy, and GMOs. They are moved to fresh grasses daily! All of this activity causes the meat to develop high levels of vitamins, phytonutrients, healthy omega 3 fats (3x more than conventional chicken), and flavor! All of our animals are raised without the use of antibiotics. They simply aren't necessary when the animals are raised in a species-appropriate ecological
    setting.
